Danceman combines the best qualities of his sire, Ch Chataqua's Valimir of Kyrov SC with his dam, Ch Del Sol Belle Starr JC SC LCM GRC in one powerful, high energy package. During Del Sol's epic pursuit of ASFA #1 for Del Sol Spitzer LCM7 GRC, Danceman ran in Spitzer's shadow, but he ended up #3 ASFA borzoi for 2004 and completed his LCM while on the same field with Spitzer. Danceman is a 3rd generation LCM for Borzoi del Sol.
In the show ring, he garnered a RWD at a big BCOA supported entry at his first time in the ring at age 6 months, under breeder judge Nadine Johnson. At his first show weekend in 2005, he took back to back majors from bred by to finish his conformation championship, and he was ranked in the top 10 in conformation in 2005, owner handled. He took 2006-2007 off to compete in the field, running impressively in open field coursing, then returned to the show ring in mid 2008 to begin his specials career.
He is CERF clear, thyroid normal, OFA cardiac normal, normal echocardiogram, OFA hips excellent. He has already produced several outstanding get, including a BCOA Nationals RWD winner. He has 5 finished progeny.
