Ch Del Sol Blazer of Wyvern

The "Car" litter was co-bred with Margaret Lucia of Wyvern Borzoi. The dam was Sweet Sara, a proven good producer of 12 conformation champions, the mother of my Peach, Ch Rabrega Lady Peach JC LCM CD CGC. The grandsire was Linda Mazor's Danny, Ch Rabrega Black Moon Rising II JC FCh, who placed first in his 15-18 mo BCOA Nationals sweepstakes class and 2nd in Bred-by dogs behind the eventual WD in 1992. Danny also took BOB at the ASFA International Invitational at LaMarque, TX.
The Car litter was conceived at Linda Mazor's home in Washington state, and whelped by Margaret Lucia in Alvin, TX. After 11 puppies were whelped, Margaret's vet would not believe that there was another puppy left inside, and she had to work very hard to convince him to administer a dose of oxytocin. That non-existent puppy was born in the back of Margaret's Blazer while she paid the vet bill - and she promptly informed him of this fact! This 12th puppy became "Blazer," and the other pups were then named after various cars.
